Everyone deserves a life free of online sexual exploitation and abuse

We help everyone who experiences online sexual violence access safe, swift removal of their abuse while gaining access to justice and healing. We advocate to give survivors greater control and we unite to help survivors find a louder collective voice.

Program 01

Aster Ellis Fund

Free, trauma-informed support from the moment you reach out.

Our flagship survivor program provides individualized support at no cost, including one year licenses for weekly image detection, monitoring, and removal, plus case management, help preparing victim impact statements, guidance through law enforcement and the courts, and referrals to verified legal and mental health resources. It serves any survivor of image-based sexual abuse, including non-consensually shared sexual imagery, AI-generated "deepfakes," and sexual extortion, regardless of background, gender, or geography.

A name that carries a promise

Our signature program is named the Aster Ellis Fund, for the aster flower, a symbol of dignity and justice, and for Elliston Berry, whose nickname is Ellis. At 14, Elliston's courage and advocacy helped drive passage of the Take It Down Act, the first comprehensive federal law addressing image-based sexual abuse in all its forms. We stand for justice for every Ellis.

The Complicit Index

Naming the infrastructure that makes abuse possible.

Image-based sexual abuse relies on content delivery networks, domain registrars, advertising platforms, and payment processors that profit from keeping it online. The Complicit Index exposes these companies with scored, evidence-based investigations, and leads the effort to change how these systems operate. Our initial analysis found that 90 of 111 sampled links of abuse material used a single content delivery network, and that all 111 were monetized through just six advertising companies.

Research & Education

Independent evidence, built on data no one else has.

We publish independent research and annual reports on the scope and patterns of image-based sexual abuse, using detection data no other research institution can access. That evidence supports platform education, legislative solutions, strengthens direct services, and powers public education that reaches people before harm occurs. Year one delivers a six-month landscape report and the inaugural State of Image-Based Abuse report. This work is possible through our data partnership with Protect Privacy AI.
